Beeston is a town in
Nottinghamshire, England. It is 3 miles (4.8 km)
southwest of Nottingham City Centre.
Although typically regarded as a suburb of the City
of Nottingham, and officially designated as part of
the Nottingham Urban Area, for local government
purposes it is in the Borough of Broxtowe. From 1935
until 1974 Beeston was paired with the town of
Stapleford (2 km to the West) in Beeston
